• Decide on a date and time.
• Decide on the mosaic art project theme of the class (if there is one). Not everyone has to make the same artwork.
• Project choices must be communicated to us no later than a week before the party to insure availability. 
• We can accommodate a maximum of 8 people to join.
• Have each person fill out the registration form and pay in advance.
• Prices will have 7% Florida sales tax added.
• Depending on the child's abilities, the beginner class is for ages 7 and up.

If you have worked with mosaics before, you can definitely take the intermediate and possibly the advanced class?

We have HUNDREDS of design options to choose from at each Skill Level (Nautical, Animals, Flowers, Sports Teams, Schools, Child-Friendly). You can even find your own design to mosaic. Suggestion: Take a look at Google Images or Pinterest for ideas if you are stuck.

Let us know if you want to create a certain mosaic in advance if you don't see a pattern, substrate or cutout. We will do our best to accommodate you. Also, be looking at what next project your would like to create. We'll have artwork hung up around you to inspire you.

Once you have signed up for a class, payment will be need to be made in full prior to the class to hold your seat. We take Cash, Venmo, Zelle, Paypal, Square, Visa, American Express, and most major credit cards.

No problem. I totally get it. You can join an existing class. What date are you available?

If your group is celebrating a special occasion, please indicate that on the registration email. Special occasions could include a birthday, graduation or reward from great grades, summer break, winter break, girl's night out, bachelorette party, shower party, networking group, corporate team building, etc. You can bring decorations, food, beverages, balloons, desert, cake and candles, paper and plastics, decorations, etc.

We require each person to sign a liability waiver to hold Linda Simon Studio harmless prior to starting the class. We take every precaution to protect each participate to the fullest. When working with tile and glass, there is a chance that you can cut yourself. With children, we use vitreous tile which is not sharp to limit getting hurt.

You may bring your beverages of choice along with snacks or appetizers. Must be 21 to consume alcohol. Our position on serving alcohol is to drink responsible, assign a DD or uber to and from the event to get home safely. We have wine glasses and a wine opener available for your use.

We offer one-on-one private mosaic tile training. Please inquire about it and specify which project your would like to work with.

We encourage you to wear the safety googles provided, or wear your reading glasses to protect your eyes from flying glass. If you have an art smock, snacks and beverage of your choice (including alcohol for 21 years and older) feel free to bring them. Also, some of the glass can be sharp so if you have heavy plastic gloves (playtex type), please bring them.

One warning before you start - this art form is very addictive. I brought back my mosaic artwork back during the 2020 pandemic. During that year, I made 160 pieces and kicked started my mosaic art classes.

The mosaic tile artwork projects are all created in our classes are for indoor enjoyment.

OUTDOOR PROJECTS

If you are interested in hanging your piece outside in the elements, it requires us to use completely different projects which are more expensive and time consuming. We can quote you an outdoor piece of artwork based on size, colors, time, steps, etc.

If you give us 48 hours notice, we can reschedule your class?

Whatever is comfortable and you don't mind if a little "art stuff" gets on it. Feel free to bring a smock / apron.

Mosaic Tile and tools are very expensive so these prices are discounted due to group classes versus private instruction.

If your group prefers special music to listen to, bring your playlist and speaker? Or, I have Alexa and she can play most types of music for your enjoyment.
